GEOGRAPHY
This semester long course is a survey course of world geography - the study of the interaction between human and physical features of the earth. Students will also examine the characteristics of different cultures throughout the world. Topics to be studied include the geography and culture of North America, Europe, Africa, Asia, and an introductory unit of basic geographic concepts. Throughout this course, students will analyze both text and media to enhance their understanding of how geography impacts culture worldwide. Here are the units that will be studied:
- Unit 1: The Earth
- Unit 2: Physical and Human Geography
- Unit 3: North American Geography
- Unit 4: Europe
- Unit 5: Asia
Mr. Hart utilizes Google Classroom! Please ask him for the classroom code to enroll in this class. Through Google Classroom, you will receive and submit assignments, be able to view in class notes that you might have missed, and receive class updates and announcements.
